Tinitusun toplumda görülme sıklığı %3-30 arasındadır.Tinnitus hasta tarafından algılanan sesin niteliğine görepulsatil ve pulsatil olmayan şeklinde sınıflandırılabilir.Pulsatil tinnitus etyolojisinde genellikle vasküler nedenlersuçlanmakla birlikte pek çok neden saptanmıştır. Buçalışmada pulsatil tinnitus şikayetiyle hastaneye başvuran,klinik değerlendirmeler sonrasında hibrid periferik sinirkılıfı tümörü tespit edilen ve tedavisi gerçekleştirilenhastanın tedavi süreci ele alınmıştır.
The prevalence of tinnitus in the community is between 3-30%. Tinnitus can be classified as pulsatile and non-pulsatile according to the quality of the sound perceived by the patient. Although vascular causes are generally blamed in the etiology of pulsatile tinnitus, many reasons have been identified. In this study, was discussed the treatment process of the patient who was admitted to the hospital with the complaint of pulsatile tinnitus, was detected and treated a hybrid peripheral nerve sheath tumor after clinical evaluations.
