Fifty-two F1genotypes resulting from these hybridization studies, their parents were selected for studying the genetic distances among them and with Fragaria chiloensis. Fourteen UBC-ISSR primers in which polymorphism levels were determined, were used. 76 DNA bands were obtained in total and 60 of them were polymorphic. After the evaluation of ISSR-PCR bands, the data were analyzed in Popgene32 and MEGA5.0 packaged software and a dendrogram was obtained according to the UPGMA method. The dendrogram was separated into two major groups at the 20% difference level, one large and one small group. Fragaria chiloensis, 'Tuylu-2' local cultivar, CC48, and CA97 F1genotypes participated in the small group while the other F1genotypes and parents participated in the large group. This suggests that 'Tuylu' local cultivars were closer to F. chiloensis than most genotypes issued from 'Osmanli' cultivar.
