Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly transforming cardiology, from automated imaging and risk prediction to remote monitoring and preventative strategies. While these technologies promise improved accuracy and personalized care, challenges persist in relation to validation, transparency, ethics, and equity. Careful integration, supported by explainable AI and clinician training, is crucial to ensuring that innovation complements, rather than replaces, clinical expertise in delivering safer and more effective cardiovascular care.
