Ecological environments are very important for all living things People who harm the environment for economic and social development realized that natural resources started to run out when they saw that many disasters, especially the climate crisis, started to happen. For this reason, the design trends towards the emerging concept of sustainability have increased, and nature-friendly solutions have begun to be produced in every field. Increasing the rate of green surfaces with the concept of sustainable environment and building provides positive benefits for human health. In this context, the main purpose of the vertical garden and roof gardens designs made at the building level is to be in a sustainable building and sustainable environment. Within the scope of this study, 2 different applications were handled with 6 different design variations. These designs were analyzed with two different user groups: expert group and city users. The questionnaires made with the city users were analyzed with SPPS and the inquiries made with the expert group were determined by the AHP method. It has been determined whether the users have landscape design applications that are not considered together with the buildings or whether the preferences of these applications have changed when these applications are considered together with the buildings. It has been revealed that ecological design approaches, the benefits of which have been proven by many scientific studies, are more preferable areas for users when designed together with buildings and open spaces.
