The developments and reflections in communication technologies have made the internet one of the most
used tools in daily use and education. Today, one of the most used tools in internet technologies is social
software tools. The widespread use of social software, especially by young generations, is one of the reasons for
investigating the educational usability of these technologies. While technological developments make it
obligatory for students to actively participate in education in accounting education; It also requires them to
know and use educational social software closely.
This study is an empirical research. In this study, questionnaire technique was used as a data collection
tool. The students who study aW %LOHFLN ùHK (GHEDOL 8QLYHUVLW )DFXOW RI $SSOLHG 6FLHQFHV FRQVWLWXWH WKH
population of the research. In this context, data were collected from the sample of 311 students with the
convenience sampling technique. Frequency analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result, it has been
determined that almost all of the students use social networks in general, on average 3 hours a day to have fun
and relaxation.
