Abstract

In this study, four series of the compounds (i.e. 2, 3, 4 and 5) were synthesized using the 2-chloro-N-(2,3-dihydro-3-benzofuryl)acetamides. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by IR, 1H-NMR, MASS spectroscopy and elementary analysis. The prepared compounds were tested for phytotoxicity in vitro and in the greenhouse tests.
