He graduated from Uludag University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry in 2008. He started his academic life as a Research Assistant at Bilecik Seyh Edebali University (BSEU) in 2010. He completed his master's degree in Chemistry at Uludag University Institute of Science and Technology in 2010. In 2015, he completed his PhD education at Dumlupınar University, Institute of Science, Department of Chemistry, with his thesis on "Preparation and testing of new hydrophilic composite membranes for water treatment systems" and started working as an Assistant Professor at BSEU in the same year. In 2017, he completed a 1-year Post-Doctorate degree in England (University of Bath) with the Tübitak 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Scholarship. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2022 and in the same year, he started working as an Associate Professor in Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science of BŞEÜ and he still continues to work in the same position.
