Prof. İSMAİL POYRAZ

He graduated from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Anadolu University. He completed both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in the Department of Molecular Biology, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Anadolu University. Between 2008 and 2010, he served as a Lecturer (Ph.D.) in the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, Pazaryeri Vocational School, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. From 2010 to 2019, he worked as an Assistant Professor and later as a Doctoral Faculty Member in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. In 2019, he was promoted to the position of Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and since then, he has been continuing his academic career in the Department of Molecular Biology, Faculty of Science, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. Between 2008 and 2010, he also served as the Program Coordinator of the Medical Services and Techniques / Medical Promotion and Marketing Program at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. In 2010, he played an active role in the establishment of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and served as the Founding Head of Department until 2013. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Member of the Executive Board of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, and between 2011 and 2017, he served as a Board Member of the Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center. In addition, he has undertaken several administrative and academic committee roles, including Faculty Academic Council Memberships during different periods. He is currently serving as a Member of the Executive Board of the Biotechnology Application and Research Center at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. His academic profile includes numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, conference papers, and proceedings. He has also contributed to the academic community through scientific society memberships, supervision of graduate theses, research projects, as well as through awards, editorial and reviewer roles, and professional certifications.
