Lect. MUSTAFA SERDAR ÖZCAN

He was born in 1992 in the Divriği district of Sivas, Turkey. He is originally from Konya. In 2016, he graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya. In the same year, he was sent to Jordan to pursue his graduate and doctoral studies in the field of Islamic Law/Fiqh within the scope of the Ministry of National Education’s Overseas Graduate Education Scholarship Program (YLSY). He completed his master’s degree in 2021 at the University of Jordan with a thesis entitled "Actuality Of Silent Consensus And Its Development And Implementation With Reference To Hanafi School Of Thought " (الإجماع السكوتي وتطوره وتطبيقاته عند الحنفية).

In 2025, he earned his doctoral degree at The World Islamic Sciences and Education University with a dissertation titled "Investigation of the Narrations of Imam Mohammad bin al-Hassan al-Shaibani and their Impact on the Branches of Jurisprudence According to the Hanafi School of Thought" (تحقيق مرويات الإمام محمد بن الحسن الشيباني وأثرها في الفروع الفقهية عند الحنفية). During his education, he also conducted academic research in Egypt and Lebanon. After completing his postgraduate studies, he returned to Turkey and started working as a lecturer at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. He is fluent in Arabic and has a good command of English. He is married and has two children.
